Streaming giant Netflix has brought numerous series and movies on the table across many languages. Apart from the English language series, many shows of other languages have also gained massive popularity around the globe. Here is the list of five non-English shows for night-owls who are bored with basic:

Dark (Country- Germany)

If the Netflix original series Stranger Things kept you gripped to your seat, this show might be worth watching for you. Imagine a much darker Stranger Things and you have named Dark. Missing children, strange events, time-hopping, and foreboding woods are all familiar and so much spookier in this German show. Dark series has a total of 18 episodes in 2 seasons.

The Hookup Plan (Country- France)

Netflix is churning out romcoms in the most relatable way possible. The series follows a socially timid French girl and her sassy Parisian friends. Despite its crazy plot twist, viewers found it a gripping story. The 14 episodes of its two seasons might make your girls night out a little more memorable. 

3% (Country- Brazil)

If you like to read about different scientific theories, this series is for you. Users review it as an engaging plot with interesting characters. A dystopian show, set in the future, where 3% of the population can live in prosperity whilst the other 97% are made to live in poverty. This low budget series has focused on the real issue rather than essaying the possibilities of robots and technology in future.

Delhi Crime (Country- India)

Delhi Crime is a fictionalised true-crime show that deals with the police investigation of the 2012 gang rape and murder of 23-year-old medical intern in Delhi. Across seven emotionally charged, noir-influenced episodes, it captures the brave dynamics of Delhi and Indian politics while exploring the irreversible horror of the brutal crime. The series also won the Asian Academy Creative Award this year.

Fauda (Country- Israel)

If the action genre is something that you like to go by, Netflix has the series titled Fauda which means chaos. The story essays the reeks of authenticity about the cat-and-mouse tactics. The intense and engaging plot with some breath-taking action sequences will keep you stick to it till its end.
