Frozen 2: Here's the actors who will dub for Elsa in Indian languages

Frozen 2, the sequel to Disney’s 2013 hit animated film Frozen is all set to hit the theatres on November 22, 2019. Frozen 2 features Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell as the voice of the main protagonists, Anna and Elsa, in the English version of the film. On the other hand, the film will be released in India in three other languages, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, besides English.

Here are the actors who will be the voice of Elsa in Frozen 2

1. Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra was one of the initial actors to be roped in to dub for the Hindi version of Frozen 2. Her real-life cousin sister, Paineeti Chopra, has been roped in to dub for the character of Elsa’s little sister, Anna. The two real-life sisters share an amazing bond with each other and fans are waiting to see whether this chemistry will showcase on the big screen as well or not.

2. Nithya Menen

Nithya Menen will be dubbing for the Telugu version of Elsa in Frozen 2. In an interview soon after the announcement, the South Indian actor revealed that she is in awe of the character of Elsa and is very excited for the release of the film. She also said that the plot of the film is very emotional and intriguing.

3. Shruti Hassan

Shruti Hassan revealed on social media that she will be voicing the Tamil version of Elsa. She has revealed to a news daily that she adored the first instalment of the series, Frozen. She also said that the bond shared by Elsa and Anna on-screen is heartwarming.

4. Sitara Ghattamaneni

It was recently revealed by trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, that Telugu megastar Mahesh Babu’s seven-year-old daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni, will be the voice of younger Elsa in the Telugu version of Frozen 2. While talking about the same to the media, Sitara’s mother Namrata Shirodkar revealed that Sitara has been idolising Elsa and has adored the story of Frozen ever since the release of the first film. Namrata also said that Sitara has enjoyed the entire dubbing process for her favourite fantasy character.
