Gadar 2 actor Manish Wadhwa reveals Sunny Deol's reaction after filming intense climax

Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 is busy creating history at the box office as the film entered the Rs 300 crore club in just eight days. Basking in the success of the film, Manish Wadhwa opened up about what happened after shooting the high-intensity climax scene. In the film, the actor plays the antagonist Major General Hamid Iqbal.

Manish Wadhwa recalls shooting climax scene with Sunny Deol

Speaking to Bollywood Thikana, the actor opened up on the climax scene in which Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) grabbed Major General Hamid Iqbal's head between his upper arms and choked him. After shooting this high-intensity scene, Manish recalled Sunny coming up to him and asking if he was alright or not.

"The moment the director said ‘cut’, he (Sunny Deol) came to me, adjusted my collar and asked ‘Lagi to nahi?‘ (Hope you didn’t get hurt?) and I said, ‘Nahi nahi paaji. Nahi lagi‘. (No, No brother. I didn’t get hurt)," added Manish.

Calling Sunny Deol "amazing," Manish continued that the veteran star never forces his thoughts rather than asks "very sweetly" if a scene can be done in a certain manner.

After entering the Rs 200 crore club in five days, emerging as the second fastest film after Pathaan (2023) to do so, Gadar 2 breached the Rs 300 crore mark in record time. In just eight days the film has earned Rs 305.13 crore, leaving behind Baahubali 2 (10 days) and KGF: Chapter 2 (11 days), both in Hindi.
