"We had a lot of talent, the world stole from us and has reached places. Don’t copy them, we have our own talent, let’s make something of our own. People tell me, ‘Let’s do a scene like that and I wonder why? Can’t we think of something new?’ That’s the way it should be," he said.

Sunny Deol slams people who says clubbing films are for 'masses'

Sunny Deol expressed a connection with the new generation of actors and praised their quest to rediscover their roots and culture. He highlighted that many youngsters are eager to learn about their country's history and traditions, which is based on curiosity that stems from a lack of comprehensive education on these topics.

The actor criticised the divisive categorisation of cinema audiences based on mass or elite preferences. He questioned the practice of labeling films like Gadar 2 solely for the "masses", as it perpetuates a sense of elitism. He reminded everyone that all moviegoers are part of the "public" and should not be compartmentalised.

"They say films for ‘masses’. What do you mean by that word?! Public is public, and that means everyone. Aap usko mass bolke neeche kar rahe ho?," he said.
