Good Newwz: Akshay-Kareena reunite for the film after almost a decade

Actors Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor will be seen together after almost a decade in Raj Mehta’s directorial debut Good Newwz. The duo was last seen in the 2009 movie Kambakkht Ishq and the two continue to share the same equation off and on camera. Fans are eagerly waiting for the duos to create magic on screen again.

Bebo and Akki's fun banters

Earlier, in a joint interview with a national daily, Kareena and Akshay spoke about their fun banters and leg-pulling. Akki revealed that Bebo and Lolo once teased him about the amount of money he has made in his career and he reverted by talking about the Kapoors having flats in every building in Bandra. 

Kareena Kapoor also shared words of appreciation for Khiladi Kumar by calling him well- mannered and extremely loving. She said that the best part about him is that he did not waste time, so she could wrap up with their shoot and take out time for her son Taimur. According to sources, the romantic comedy-drama Good Newwz revolves around a married couple who are trying for a baby.

About the Good Newwz cast

Good Newwz also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani, besides Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor. Produced by Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar under their respective banners Cape of Good Films and Dharma Productions, the film is slated to release on December 27, 2019.

Previous work and upcoming projects

Before Good Newwz, Akshay and Kareena worked together in various projects such as Ajnabee, Aitraaz, Talaash: The Hunt Begins, Kambakkht Ishq, Bewafaa, and Tashan. After Good Newwz, Kareena Kapoor will be next seen in Karan Johar’s Takht alongside Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. The film will hit the theatres on December 25, 2020. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar is prepping up for his upcoming Farhad Samji’s Housefull 4. The film stars an ensemble cast and is set to hit the theatres on October 25, 2019. Kumar has Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb, and Prithviraj too in his kitty.
