About Gully Boy
Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy featured Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles narrating a rag to riches story of a talented rapper hailing from an economically backward family in Mumbai and making it big by virtue of his talent and sheer hard work. The film was inspired by the real-life stories of Mumbai rappers Divine and Naezy. The film was released on February 14 and was widely acclaimed by all critics and the Bollywood fraternity alike.
