The overnight sensation Ranu Mondal broke the internet when a video of her singing singer Lata Mangeshkar’s track Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai from 1972's film Shor at the Ranaghat station in West Bengal went viral. Her melodious voice was widely appreciated by the audience and was shared widely across social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter.
Ranu Mondal has recorded her third single for Himesh Reshammiya's upcoming film titled Happy Hardy and Heer. After crooning to Teri Meri Kahani and Aadat in her soulful voice, the singer has lent her voice to Reshammiya's hit song Aashiqui Mein Teri from the 2006 film 36 China Town this time. Himesh Reshammiya took to his Instagram to share the video of the process on his Instagram page.
Sharing the video Himesh captioned the post writing "Production of the song is in progress, this is just a scratch / thank you dear people of the globe for bringing this unadulterated smile on Ranu ji s face, her versatility and confidence is growing with each song, The recreation of Aashiqui Mein Teri from happy hardy and heer is a proof, lots of love, wishing all of you a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi."
The makers of the film titled Happy Hardy and Heer released the teaser of the video on YouTube.The movie is a rom-com produced by Himesh Reshammiya along with Deepshikha Deshmukh and Sabita Manakchand. Himesh will play a double role in the film whereas the film also stars Sonia Mann. The movie is set to release on December 27, 2019, and the song is titled Aashiqui Mein Teri 2.0 and will be released on November 14, 2019, i.e. tomorrow.
