Bhumi Pednekar is an Indian film actor who sharted her career as an assistant casting director at Yash Raj Films. Before making her Bollywood acting debut, she was known to be an honest and dedicated YRF employee for 6 years. She made her acting debut as an overweight bride in YRF's Dum Laga Ke Haisha. She has done a lot of movies after that and has also won many awards for her performances. But the star does have some underrated roles that fans may not know about, and here's a list of those films.

Sonchiriya

The movie is set in the Chambal Valley and is set about a group of robbers who once terrorised the whole of India. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpai, Ashutosh Rana, and more. Abhishek Chaubey, the director of the film, was leading the project that was produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan

This film was the first time where Bhumi Pednekar was seen on the big screen with the famous actor and singer, Ayushmann Khurrana. The film was about a couple going through a rough patch as the husband is facing erectile dysfunction. This movie was a great one, according to fans, and also helped spread awareness about this particular ailment. The film was directed by R.S. Prasanna and a sequel of the film is soon going to be released under the name Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan

Lust Stories

This story was a critically acclaimed one because it focused on bringing out the modern mentality of Indian women. The film is about four couples who are going through various difficulties related to their marriage and personal lives. The film not only has a star-studded cast bust also a set of very experienced directors. The film was directed by  Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, and Dibakar Banerjee. Here, Bhumi was seen playing the role of Sudha, a maid.
