Hickey: Pradeep Sarkar comes on board for Divyansh Pandit's short film
Announcement for the upcoming short film Hickey has been made on Taran Adarsh's official social media pages. Here are all the details known about the film.

Pradeep Sarkar, a director known for his previous works including Mardaani and Parineeta, is now presenting the upcoming short film Hickey. The short film will be directed by Divyansh Pandit, who is also the founder of Wild Buffaloes Entertainment, the company behind the development of the recently-announced short film. Divyansh Pandit has previously directed other short films such as the recent Raat Baaki Baat Baaki. The announcement about Pradeep Sarkar's association with Hickey was made on Monday on the official Twitter page of the film critic, Taran Adarsh.

The movie will be developed by Divyansh Pandit's Wild Buffaloes Entertainment and Pandit will also be directing the short film. Pradeep Sarkar shall be the one presenting the film, according to the announcement. Here is the announcement posted by Taran Adarsh.

Wild Buffaloes Entertainment has made several other short films that have been well received in the past. The most recent short film was Raat Baaki Baat Baaki, which released on March 25, 2019. The short film starred popular actor Jackie Shroff in one of the leading roles. Apart from Jackie Shroff, other actors that played pivotal roles included Shubhangi Latkar and Bhawsheel Sahni. The film featured Jackie as an old man with a youngster's spirit who helped four other young men that lived in the same society as him.
The release date and cast for Hickey have not yet been revealed. Other than Pradeep Sarkar's association with the project as a presenter, no other information about the upcoming short film has been shared as of now. Divyansh Pandit will not only be directing Hickey, but he has also penned the script of the film.
