Holi 2019: From Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar's PDA to family gatherings with star kids, here's how the B-Town celebrated the festival of colours

It was a day with the family for most celebrities from the film industry on the occasion of Holi as the festival of colours was celebrated countrywide and persons of Indian origin across the world. Several pictures of the stars surfaced on social media, and they just beautifully conveyed the festive fervour. 

One of the highlights of the day was the Holi bash thrown by Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi at their residence.

The lyricist’s multitalented son Farhan Akhtar and his girlfriend, actor-TV presenter Shibani Dandekar were among the star attractions, and their PDA, like their fans are familiar with on social media, was on display too. Watch here:

Zoya Akhtar, who is riding high on the success of ‘Gully Boy’, was also seen enjoying food and drinks with her family members. Shabana’s brother Baba Azmi and wife, actress Tanvi Azmi, were also spotted. 

Madhuri Dixit posed with her family, husband Sriram Nene and son for a beautiful picture. Urmila Matondkar posted a rare snap with her husband, Mohsin Akhtar Mir and pets.  

As far as the South stars were concerned, Rajinikanth’s snap with wife Latha and daughters Aishwaryaa and Soundarya, and Allu Arjun’s with daughter Arha were just too adorable.

Kajol’s picture with mother, veteran actress Tanuja, and sister Tanishaa. Ajay Devgn, meanwhile, shared a picture of their son Yug enjoying Holi.  

Taimur, like always, also made headlines, this time for spraying water from his balcony with 'pichkari'. His cousin Inaaya Naumi Kemmu also seemed to love the festival of colours in a pic shared by mom Soha.
