Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 is all set to hit theatres on October 26, 2019. The film is directed by Farhad Samji and produced under the banner of Sajid Nadiadwala. The film has a huge star cast comprising of actors like Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Boman Irani, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbana among others. The plot of the film is said to be based on reincarnation and is hence set in two different eras. The trailer of the film was released on September 27, 2019.

Akshay Kumar recently uploaded a picture from the trailer launch of Housefull 4. In the picture, the actors are seen in a different avatar. As the film is a reincarnation comedy, a certain part of the film is set in the 14th century. In the picture, the cast is dressed in anarkalis and sherwanis. Akshay Kumar is bald in the picture and also addresses himself as "Takliya" in the caption. In the snap, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Riteish Deshmukh are seen kissing Akshay Kumar’s shaved head. The actors were dressed as their characters for the trailer launch event of the film. The trailer of the film started trending on YouTube minutes after its release. The trailer was quick to spark a discussion among netizens.
