Housefull 4: Nawazuddin Siddiqui to play a cameo in a song sequence

While Housefull 4 wrapped up shooting last November, the cast reunited to shoot a special song sequence featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He will reportedly take on a baba avatar in the song. Nawazuddin Siddiqui had earlier worked with Sajid Nadiadwala in the latter’s directorial debut, Kick. Housefull 4 will hit the screens during Diwali this year.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's cameo in Housefull 4

It has been reportedly revealed that Nawazuddin Siddiqui will join the Housefull 4 cast in a cameo role. He will be playing a baba who lives in a den with 300 disciples. He will be accompanied by the six lead actors in the song. There will also be 500 backup dancers in the song sequence. The song comes at an important juncture in Housefull 4. It brings in an important twist to the plot. Ganesh Acharya has choreographed the song sequence. The director Farhan Samji and his team have worked on the song for about two weeks.

Housefull 4 has been shot in multiple locations like Rajasthan and London. This song was, however, shot in Mumbai. An elaborate set had been prepared in Goregaon Filmcity to shoot the song. Housefull 4 will also have a qawwali song sequence which will feature a face-off between Akshay Kumar and Rana Daggubati. The fourth installment of the Housefull franchise is a reincarnation comedy divided between two eras. Akshay Kumar will reportedly play a 15th-century king. Pictures of him in a bald king avatar had even gone viral soon after they were posted. But nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

After a lot of controversy regarding the #metoo movement, Housefull 4 is back on track. The Housefull 4 cast comprises of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol and Rana Daggubati. The latter has replaced Nana Patekar as the antagonist. The Housefull 4 cast will also be joined by Jamie Lever, Johnny Lever’s daughter. For the first time, the father-daughter duo will be seen onscreen in Housefull 4. Chunky Panday will also reprise his role in the Housefull franchise.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been critically acclaimed for his performances both onscreen and offscreen. The actor also recently featured in the Netflix original series, Sacred Games which has garnered a lot of attention. He will next be seen in Ghoomketu along with Richa Chadha. The actor has a host of other upcoming films lined up like Motichoor Chaknachoor, Rajneeti 2, The Vanishing Act and more.
