Housefull 4: Will the movie have the highest opening of 2019?

Housefull 4 is a multi-starrer comedy movie releasing in 2019. It is an epic reincarnation comedy. Housefull 4 was the big buzz of the town when the movie was announced. From Akshay being bald to Chunky being Akhri Pasta, there was a lot of news that came as the movie was in the filming process. Recently, the trailer of the movie was released. Netizens gave mixed reviews to the trailer. There was a trailer launch event organized by the filmmakers on the same day as its online release.

The movie is based on the incarnation, and thus it was shot in two different time periods; the 15^th century and the present (2019). The lead cast of the movie, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Sanon, and Kriti Karbandana, attended the event. They were dressed in 15th-century outfits. The movie seems to be an extravagant affair if we go by the costumes and the trailer launch. It is also reportedly hailed as one of the most expensive comedies made in India.

Promotions and budget for the film

The budget for the film is around ₹75 crores. When the costumes, promotions, and trailer seem to support these speculations. There is a remarkable amount of work that has gone on the details of both time periods. The sets are designed keeping in mind, the era of the 15^th century. Housefull 4 also features Johnny Lever, Chunky Pandey, Nawazudin Siddiqui, Boman Irani, and Rana Dagubbati in significant roles. 

The movie is directed by Farhad Samji. In a media interaction, he revealed that this genre of comedy, with the element of reincarnation, was challenging for him and the team as well. He added that dealing with the sets and costumes of the 15th-century era was difficult.

The movie can have the highest box office opening because of two essential elements, one is the details focused on the movie regarding the two eras. Creating costumes for the 15^th century and the sets designed are very extravagant. Also, the added flavour of comedy is an essential key in context to box-office calculations. Not only the movie but the promotions were the detailed depiction of the movie being a grand affair.

The film is directed by Farhad Samji under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment along with Fox Star Studios. Housefull 4's script belongs to the comedy genre and has some elements of reincarnation in it. The posters and the trailer of the film are out. The film is all set to hit theatres on October 25, 2019.
