Housefull 4: Will the film mark a hattrick for Sajid Nadiadwala?

Riding high on the success of recent films like Chhichhore and Super 30, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala is gearing up for his next release Housefull 4. It will be the third film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala for the year 2019. This year turned out to be eventful for the production company with Chhichhore and Super 30 earning good numbers at the box-office. Interestingly, Housefull 2 was the first film that served the success of ₹ 100 crores club to the producer.

Sajid has produced Kalank, Chhichhore, Super 30, and Housefull 4. However, the Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starrer Kalank was a debacle at the box-office. Kalank's failure was compensated for the production house in July and September with the success of Super 30 (approximately ₹ 147 crores) and Chhihhore (approximately ₹ 202 crores). Salman Khan starrer action comedy film Kick tops the list of the biggest hits by the production company with the collection of ₹ 366 crores at the box-office.

If the Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 performs well at the box-office, it will mark the third success of the filmmaker. According to the predictions of many trade analysts of Bollywood, Housefull 4 might enter the ₹ 300 crores club, making it a hattrick for Nadiadwala. The production house has given numerous hits across different genres, be it action, romantic or comedy. But it never hit the hattrick.

The production house enjoyed the experience of hattrick in the year 2016 with films like Baaghi, Housefull 3, and Dishoom. But Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon broke the success chain of the production company. Numerous projects of Nadiadwala are lined up for the coming year with the biggest superstars of the Bollywood. The kitty of the producer have films like Kick 2, Bachchan Pandey, Baaghi 3 and '83 among others.

The star cast of Housefull 4 has Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, and Pooja Hegde. Apart from these actors, Johnny Liver, Chunky Pandey, Nawazzuddin Siddiqui, Rana Daggubati will be seen playing pivotal roles in the film. The trailer and the songs of the film are already out. The Farhad Samji directorial is slated to release on October 25, 2019.
