In one of the biggest events celebrating the bilateral relationship between India and USA, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi was greeted enthusiastically by United States of America at the ‘Howdy, Modi’ event on Sunday. While the build-up to the event in itself was massive, the gathering lived up to the hype with some mesmerising performances that were on display at the NRG Stadium in Houston. Even Rishi Kapoor expressed his pride about his being and the Indian community, with an Indian Prime Minister being welcomed on such a massive scale. The veteran actor also conveyed his best wishes to PM Modi and USA President Donald Trump for a constructive meeting.

Rishi Kapoor is someone who could understand the atmosphere because he recently returned from the USA after spending close to a year there. The ‘Agneepath’ star got treated for cancer in New York and it was only a few days back that he returned after a successful treatment.
PM Modi and USA President Donald Trump also bonded on Twitter as the event was set to kick off. Trump welcomed his ‘friend’ PM Modi, “Will be in Houston to be with my friend. Will be a great day in Texas!”
PM Modi responded, “It surely will be a great day! Looking forward to meeting you very soon @realDonaldTrump.”
