Hrithik Roshan is currently enjoying the success of his film War which is running at the box-office after its release on October 2. The film was Hrithik’s second hit after his biopic Super 30. But Hrithik Roshan’s transformation from his role in Super 30 to his role in War as Kabir was not easy. The actor had to go through a rigorous fitness routine to achieve the desired shape for this action-packed role. Take a look at this physical transformation of Hrithik Roshan for his movie War.

Hrithik Roshan’s physical transformation for War

Hrithik Roshan is known as one of the fittest actors in Bollywood. Dhoom 2, Krissh 1 and 2, and Bang Bang are proof about the importance he gives to his lifestyle. But this was not the story when it came to prepping for his role in the movie War. After completing the shoot of his film Super 30, Hrithik Roshan had to start prepping for his role as Kabir in War. Hrithik had one month to achieve a certain look for this film. A video shared by Hrithik’s fitness brand documented this transformation.

In the video, Hrithik can be seen calling this transformation a mental and physical challenge. In the first few scenes, Hrithik can be seen clicking a picture of himself before starting the workout. Hrithik can be seen blaming himself for ignoring his body. But then the music intensifies and Hrithik Roshan starts his fitness journey for his role as Kabir. The actor had to attain the fitness level equal to that of Baaghi actor Tiger Shroff who was already set with his role appropriate physique. In the movie War, Hrithik Roshan plays the role of Tiger Shroff’s mentor hence Hrithik’s look was required to look a certain way. As the video progresses, Hrithik can be seen slowly building his muscles and losing all the fat build-up. The final shot of the video shows, the before and after pictures of Hrithik Roshan and the video ends with him walking in and as Kabir from the movie War.
