Indian TV show scenes that were inspired by the Game of Thrones series
Game of Thrones has come up with eight seasons that spanned from 2011 and 2019. Here are some moments from Indian TV shows inspired by the famous series.
There have been multiple occasions where Indian TV and movies have been inspired by something in Hollywood. The political drama series Game of Thrones is one of the most popular shows in the world. Indian TV shows have recreated many ideas from the show from time to time.
Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga
The TV show Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga airs on Sony TV. A scene from the show reminded the audience of the epic moment from Season 8 of Game of Thrones. This moment was of Arya Stark stabbing the Night King. Aladdin had a scene where a skeleton picks up Aladdin, played by Siddharth Nigam, from the neck and Aladdin stabs it.
Sasural Simar Ka
The popular show Sasural Simar Ka ran for seven years on Colors TV. The show had a huge viewer base. The later episodes added some supernatural elements to the show. One of the promotion videos of the show had a similar creative as the Hall of Faces in Game of Thrones. It showed the faces all the family members of the Bharadwaj family as the villain roams around and talks about her destruction plans.
Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat
Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat is a show on Colors TV. It traces the journey of Ashoka the Great of the Maurya dynasty. A character named Prince Dastan was introduced to the show. His look was a nod to the look of Jason Momoa’s character Khal Drogo from the Game of Thrones series.
The Kapil Sharma Show
In a recent episode from the reality show The Kapil Sharma Show, something that caught the eye of the fans and audience. When Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor visited the show for their movie, War’s, promotions, Hrithik descended on the stage sitting on a throne. This throne was made of guns, but it looked very similar to the legendary throne from Game of Thrones.
