Housefull 4 is one of the most awaited comedy films of 2019. Ever since the makers of the film dropped the trailer last week, within hours it began trending on the feeds of social media platforms. However, the trailer gained mixed reviews from netizens. The makers of the film also organised a trailer launch event on the same day of its online release.

Housefull 4 has been shot in two different time-zones; that is, the 15th century and in the present (2019). All the lead actor of the film i.e. Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Sanon and Kriti Karbandana reportedly attended the trailer launch dressed in 15th-century outfits. Khiladi Kumar was also seen flaunting his bald look from the film at the event. Going by the trailer launch and the actor's look, the movie seems like an extravagant affair. Some netizens have hailed the movie as the "most-expensive" comedy movie to be made in India.

Housefull 4 also features Johhny Liver, Chunky Pandey, Nawazudin Siddiqui, Boman Irani, and Rana Dagubbati in significant roles.
