Is love in the air for Tara Sutaria and Sidharth Malhotra? ‘Student of the Year 2’ actress answers

Rumours about a film star’s personal life and paparazzi’s attention towards it are a part and parcel of the world of showbiz. And that can be said about soon-to-be debutante Tara Sutaria. The actress, who has three films in all in her kitty, is rumoured to be dating her ‘Marjaavaan’ co-star Sidharth Malhotra for some time now. However, the actress has denied all of it, by saying they are ‘just great friends’, but agreed when asked if there were fireworks between them.

On the professional front, Tara has been going great guns, signing three films, including the upcoming ‘Student of the Year 2.’ One of them is ‘Marjaavaan’ opposite Sidharth and the other, the remake of ‘RX 100’ opposite Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan. As far as the former is concerned, rumour mills have been rife that Tara and Sidharth are not just co-stars, but also a couple.

The former finally broke her silence over it during a recent radio show. Tara clarified that she is not dating Sidharth. The duo is also ‘padosi’ (neighbours) and the actress added that she believes in ‘love thy neighbour’ saying, but they are 'just great friends.'

The RJ then asked her about the type of conversations they have. She replied that they talk about their film, including ‘Marjaavaan’, but not just that, even about other things like her ‘SOTY 2’ co-stars Ananya Pandya and Tiger Shoff. The youngster described the conversations as ‘padosi pyaar kind of a lovely chat.‘ 

When asked about there being fireworks when one looks at the couple, Tara didn’t deny it and stated there were indeed fireworks between them.

Earlier, at the wrap-up bash of ‘Marjaavaan’, the duo coming together had made headlines. Some of Tara’s answers on ‘Koffee with Karan’ were also considered to be hinting towards their alleged relationship then.
