Seems like Bollywood newbie Janhvi Kapoor is literally enjoying her New York vacay. The actress, who is in the West at the moment along with father Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi Kapoor, recently treated fans with pictures from her getaway on Instagram. She shared pictures of her enjoying a splash in a fountain with friends and captioned it saying, "New York, I love you"

Ishaan Khatter drops a hilarious comment

While many on the internet praised Janhvi Kapoor for her cuteness, her 'Dhadak' co-star Ishaan Khatter dropped a hilarious comment on the post which has left netizens in splits. He commented on the post saying, "Our floods are better than theirs 🌧"

Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor, who made their Bollywood debut together in Karan Johar's 'Dhadak', are known to be very good friends. The pair stormed into the industry and their on-screen chemistry won the hearts of the audience. Both Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor come from an acting background. While Janhvi Kapoor is the daughter of late legendary actress Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter is Shahid Kapoor's brother. Janhvi Kapoor to star in Gunjan Saxena biopic 

Janhvi Kapoor will essay the lead role in an upcoming venture titled 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' which is based on the life of IAF officer Gunjan Saxena, who is one of the first female pilots to fly in combat. She played an important role in rescuing injured soldiers during the Kargil War in 1999 and was awarded the gallantry Shaurya Vir Award for displaying courage during the war.

This is going to be the first time Janhvi Kapoor will be portraying a real-life person following her debut in 'Dhadak'. Directed by Sharan Sharma, 'The Kargil Girl' also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Angad Bedi and Manav Vij in pivotal roles. The upcoming biopic is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios and is set to hit theatres on March 13, 2020.

Ishaan Khatter busy shooting for Khaali Peeli

Ishaan Khatter is currently busy shooting for his upcoming romantic drama 'Khaali Peeli' which is also going to be his second Bollywood venture post 'Dhadak'. In the upcoming venture, Ishaan Khatter will be sharing screen-space with Ananya Panday and their first looks were unveiled recently. 

'Khaali Peeli' helmed by Maqbool Khan, is reportedly a love story which narrates the story of a boy and a girl who bumped into each other in the middle of the night. As per media reports, the film revolves their journey following the same. 'Khaali Peeli' will be produced by Zee Studios, Ali Abbas Zafar and Himanshu Mehra and is scheduled to release on June 12, 2020.
