"It's ironical": Sunaina Roshan's boyfriend Ruhail Amin breaks his silence over Roshan family's objection to their relationship

Hrithik Roshan's sister Sunaina Roshan recently made headlines when she came out in the open and made shocking allegations against her brother and the entire Roshan family. Firstly, she accused Hrithik of not fulfilling his promise of getting her a house of her own, but she also leveled allegations against her father, Rakesh Roshan saying that he slapped her and called her boyfriend Ruhail Amin a 'terrorist'.

In a recent interaction with a media publication, Amin broke his silence over the Roshan family not accepting his and Sunaina's relationship and stated that the incident has exposed the 'dark underbelly of identity politics' and that in today's liberal times it is quite 'uncalled' for. Calling the entire incident 'unfortunate', he stated that labeling someone because he/she belongs to a certain religion needs to be condemned immediately. 

During the interaction, he was also asked as to what problem there might be given the fact that Hrithik's ex-wife, Sussanne is a Muslim too. To which he replied saying that everybody can see the 'irony'. 

In a previous interview, Sunaina had disclosed that she met Ruhail through Facebook last year and didn't save his number on her phone because she didn't want her parents to find out. She later shifted out of her parent's home and started living in a hotel apartment but came back later.

The controversy began when Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel shared a series of tweets wherein she detailed alleged accounts related to Hrithik Roshan's sister Sunaina Roshan and said that she wanted to make the claimed information public because Sunaina had been calling Kangana and the latter didn't know how else to help her.
