Ittefaq: The murder mystery flick to release in China on October 25

Ittefaq was well-received by Bollywood fans and critics in India. Now it is all set to release in theatres in China. The movie, which is a contemporary adaptation of the classic directed by Yash Chopra, will hit theatres in China on October 25, 2019.

Ittefaq is a murder mystery movie directed by director Abhay Chopra. He made a successful stint as a director. It is produced by Juno Chopra. The leading star cast of the movie is Siddharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Khanna. The film released in India on November 3, 2017.

The story revolves around Vikram (played by Siddharth Malhotra) who is charged with double murder; the murder of his wife and a lawyer who is supposedly the husband of Sonakshi Sinha’s character, Maya. The movie was inspired by Rajesh Khanna’s movie with the same title, Ittefaq, which was again inspired by a Gujarati play that was based on an English play, ‘Are we all potential murderers?’ The storyline of the movie revolves around a man and a woman who happened to meet one night. They bond over drinks, share laughter and then the worse happens. They both have their versions of that night. The man is accused of murder but turns out to be innocent and the woman who plays the victim actually turns out to be the murderer.

Ittefaq in China's Theatres

This was the first movie where Siddharth Malhotra shared the big screen with Sonakshi Sinha.
