Janhvi Kapoor looks like mother Sridevi in white saree, fans exclaim
"She looks like her mom," wrote a fan on Janhvi Kapoor's picture where the actress was seen donning a plain white saree at Anil Kapoor's Diwali bash, on Sunday.

Channeling her mother Sridevi's charm and grace, Janhvi Kapoor looked stunning donning a plain white saree on Diwali. Fans dropped comments on social media saying Janhvi's all-white look reminded them of Sridevi from the film 'Janbaaz' where she wore the saree in the song 'Har Kisi Ko Nai Milta'. Janhvi was at Anil Kapoor's Diwali bash on Sunday. 'Dhadak' actress took to her Instagram handle to post a 'fam-jam' picture wearing a Manish Malhotra outfit.
Janhvi talks about mother Sridevi
In an interview, Janhvi spoke about how Sridevi never wanted her to become an actress. She said: "She never wanted me to be an actress... She was more relaxed about Khushi (Janhvi's younger sister) getting into films. She thought I was naive, that I wasn't thick-skinned enough. She wanted us to live a more relaxed life. She loved what she did but you know it was intense."
What's next for Janhvi Kapoor?
Janhvi Kapoor will essay the lead role in an upcoming venture titled 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' which is based on the life of IAF officer Gunjan Saxena, who is one of the first female pilots to fly in combat. She played an important role in rescuing injured soldiers during the Kargil War in 1999 and was awarded the gallantry Shaurya Vir Award for displaying courage during the war.
This is going to be the first time Janhvi Kapoor will be portraying a real-life person following her debut in 'Dhadak'. Directed by Sharan Sharma, 'The Kargil Girl' also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Angad Bedi, and Manav Vij in pivotal roles. The upcoming biopic is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios and is set to hit theatres on March 13, 2020.
Moreover, Janhvi Kapoor is also roped for Karan Johar multi-starrer venture 'Takht' which is scheduled to go on floors in the coming year.
