Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor recently opened up about the advice her mother, late legendary star Sridevi, gave her on being a good actor. The star-kid who attended the JIO MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, on Sunday, October 13, said Sridevi always told her to be a good person from within. The actress while addressing a panel discussion said her mother would always tell her, "whatever you think and carry in your heart, will show on your face. So it is important for an actor to be a good person from within because the camera captures everything."
Janvi Kapoor is the elder daughter of late actress Sridevi & filmmaker Boney Kapoor. She debuted in Bollywood last year with Karan Johar's 'Dhadak' and was wholeheartedly welcomed by the audience. The film also starred debutant Ishaan Khatter in the lead.
Meanwhile, besides Janhvi Kapoor several other Bollywood newbies including Ananya Panday, Mrunal Thakur, and Radhika Madan attended the Jio MAMI event. All the Bollywood divas dazzled at the red carpet donning stunning outfits.
What's next for Janhvi Kapoor?
Janhvi Kapoor will essay the lead role in an upcoming venture titled 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' which is based on the life of IAF officer Gunjan Saxena, who is one of the first female pilots to fly in combat. She played an important role in rescuing injured soldiers during the Kargil War in 1999 and was awarded the gallantry Shaurya Vir Award for displaying courage during the war.
This is going to be the first time Janhvi Kapoor will be portraying a real-life person following her debut in 'Dhadak'. Directed by Sharan Sharma, 'The Kargil Girl' also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Angad Bedi, and Manav Vij in pivotal roles. The upcoming biopic is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios and is set to hit theatres on March 13, 2020.
Moreover, Janhvi Kapoor is also roped for Karan Johar multi-starrer venture 'Takht' which is scheduled to go on floors in the coming year.
