Jawaani Jaaneman: Pooja Bedi's daughter Alaia F to debut in 2019

Pooja Bedi is a former Bollywood actor and daughter of Kabir Bedi. Pooja is best-known for the movie Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992) and participating in the reality TV show Big Boss in 2011. Bedi married Farhan Furniturewala in 1994, and they had two children. They separated in 2003 and Pooja recently got engaged to Maneck Contractor.

Alaia Furniturewala, Pooja's elder daughter, is ready to debut in Bollywood with the movie Jawaani Janeman.

The debutante will be playing the role of the daughter of Sacred Games actor Saif Ali Khan. De De Pyaar De actor Tabu is also a part of the film. Alaia has studied acting at the New York Film Academy. She is an Instagram sensation with more than 3 lakh followers. Saif Ali Khan, in an interview with a daily newspaper, said that Alaia has all the charm and energy needed for a young lead actor and he is looking forward to work alongside her.

Mother Pooja Bedi also tweeted about Alaia working with Saif for Jawaani Jaaneman. She posted a picture of Saif and Alaia attending the ICC World Cup match. She also wished her daughter the best of luck:

Alaia also posted a beautiful picture on her Instagram. She can be seen with Saif, Tabu and Nitin Kakkar, the director of Jawaani Jaaneman:

Nitin Kakkar’s last directed movie was The Notebook starring Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl. He has also directed the Jackky Bhagnani starrer Mitron. Both movies didn’t do well at the box office, but expectations for Jawaani Jaaneman are set high owing to the incredible cast.

Jawaani Jaaneman is a romantic comedy-drama. The movie is produced by Jackky Bhagnani’s 'Pooja Entertainment' in collaboration with Saif Ali Khan’s 'Black Knight Films' and Jay Shewakramani's 'Northern Lights Films.' The movie will be released on 29th November 2019.
