Bollywood actor Tabu is all set for her next movie Jawaani Jaaneman. In the last couple of years, the Biwi No 1 actor has played a variety of roles that have dark shades. The most memorable of these dark roles has been Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Andhadhun. Her performance as Simi won her many accolades and praises from critics and audiences alike. Tabu, in an interview with an entertainment portal, recently threw some light on her character in Jawaani Jaaneman.

In her next film, Jawaani Jaaneman, Tabu teams up with Saif Ali Khan after two decades. In an interview to a leading entertainment outlet, Tabu described her role as 'absolutely refreshing,' when asked to comment on her character and compared it to the dark roles she played lately. She said that she loved the script of the film and wanted to give it a go as soon as possible. Her previous other films, such as De De Pyaar De and Drishyam, were also successful with critics and audiences alike.

Besides Saif Ali Khan and Tabu, the film will also mark the debut of actress Alaia F. The granddaughter of actor Kabir Bedi and daughter of actress Pooja Bedi, Alaia F will play the role of the Saif Ali Khan's daughter in the film. The film is directed by Nitin Kakkar. A majority of the shooting took place in London.
The plot of Jawaani Jaaneman is closely guarded for now. Saif is said to play the role of a 40-year old father in the film. Besides Jawaani Jaaneman, Saif Ali Khan will also be seen in Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior, opposite Ajay Devgn and Dil Bechara, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. His next is the eagerly anticipated film, Laal Kaptaan, which is scheduled to release on October 18.
