John Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen banters with Idris Elba on Twitter

John Legend, the R&B singer, was named the Sexiest Man Alive of 2019 by a leading US-based magazine. After this was announced, the Grammy-winning singer’s wife Christine Teigen took to Twitter to share her love for the title received by her husband. After the announcement, online banter between Teigen and last year's Sexiest Man Alive, Idris Elba, began. Here is all you should know.

After she posted the lovely tweet, John Legend shared a throwback picture from 1995 comparing present Idris Elba to his old picture. John captioned the picture by saying that his young version would have been puzzled about becoming the Sexiest Man Alive after Idris Elba. He added that 2019 John is also baffled by this idea.

John Legend’s throwback

Chrissy Teigen retweeted this with a comment asking Idris Elba to share a picture from 1995. She, in a way, challenged Elba to see who was better looking. She also guessed that Idris would have been hot in 1995 too.
