Kajol and Mother Tanuja Raise Awareness Of Breast Cancer
Ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, actress Kajol and mother Tanuja launched a book to raise awareness of the same.
Kajol recently made the headlines after husband Ajay Devgn shared her number on his official Twitter handle. The ‘Singham’ actor soon clarified it was a mere prank, following which an evidently annoyed Kajol replied, “Looks like your pranks are out of the studios now... But there is No Entry for them at home! ”. Following this gimmick, the actress is back in the limelight as she launched a book on breast cancer survivors called, “Triumph Over Breast Cancer”.
Ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, actress Kajol and mother Tanuja launched a book to raise awareness of the same. The actress took to Instagram, where she has all 6.9 million followers, to share a picture from the event. In a post captioned, “Cakes and causes all of today !
Launched a book on breast cancer survivors. “Triumph Over Breast Cancer “ All proceeds go to charity. Do your good deed for the day 🙏” , the actress was seen all smiles alongside her mother.
On the work front, Kajol will next be seen on the silver screen in the much-awaited Pradeep Sarkar directorial titled, ‘Helicopter Eela’.
Based on an obsessive mother who continuously keeps tabs on her son's activities, this film is slated to release on October 12, 2018. When asked about if she resonates with Eela's character, the actress reportedly stated that most mothers are like Eela, and so all of them are Eela. However, the degree of obsession differs from one mother to another. The film is written by Mitesh Shah and is co-produced by Ajay Devgn and Jayantilal Gada of Pen India Ltd. Earlier, the film was slated to release on September 7 but now has been pushed to October 12, 2018. 'Helicopter Eela' also stars Neha Dhupia, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Riddhi Sen. it will also reunite Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo with Kajol. the two were last seen sharing screen space together in Karan Johar's directorial 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' back in 2001. Kajol was recently spotted as a guest on Neha Dhupia's third season of her chat show 'No Filter Neha'.
