Kajol Recreates Songs From 'Baazigar' And 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'

25 years ago Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan were paired for the first time for the film 'Baazigar' (1993) and since then the two actors worked in several films together becoming the iconic onscreen pair and giving their fans innumerable memories from their every film. And well, who can forget the memorable song 'Ye Kaali Kaali Aankhein' from the film 'Baazigar'. Hardly there would have been any 90's kid who hasn't grooved to this Kumar Sanu and Anu Malik song. And recently Kajol was seen taking audiences back in the 90's when she recreated the famous song from the movie 'Baazigar'. 

Recently, Kajol was at a reality show, promoting her upcoming film 'Helicopter Eela'. And that's when Kajol took to stage shaking legs on 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhein' from 'Baazigar' with the reality show judge and choreographer Tushar Kalia. 

And don't be surprised to see Kajol recreating another iconic number from the movie 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' (1998), which made Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol the most loved onscreen pair. On the reality show, Kajol danced to the famous song 'Mehendi Laga Ke Rakhna' with director Shashank Khaitan trying to match up to Shah Rukh Khan's steps and the latter revealed that he got bitten by the filmy bug with this film of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Madhuri Dixit too who is one of the judges on the reality show was found cheering and clapping for Kajol as she danced to the two iconic numbers from 90's.

Talking about 'Helicopter Eela', the film is an adaptation of the Gujarati play, 'Beta Kagdo'. The film will also see Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo reuniting Kajol and Amitabh Bachchan together after 17 years. The two uber-talented actors were last seen together in Karan Johar's directorial 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' in 2001.  'Helicopter Eela' co-produced by Ajay Devgn will see Kajol play a single mother who is an aspiring singer. 

Directed by Pradeep Sarkar 'Helicopter Eela' also stars Neha Dhupia, Tota Roy Chowdhury and National Award winning actor Riddhi Sen. 'Helicopter Eela' which was earlier slated to release on September 7 has been postponed to October 12 owing to director Pradeep Sarkar's ill health.
