Kalki Koechlin reveals how ex Anurag Kashyap reacted to her pregnancy

Former Bollywood couple Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap are not only a pro in their respective fields, but are also very mature in handling their relationship. Even after years of their split, Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap not only collaborate professionally, but are also known to be very good friends.

Mommy-to-be Kalki Koechlin has been making it to the headlines ever since she opened up about her pregnancy. The diva, who is 5 months into her pregnancy, recently revealed how her ex-husband, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap reacted to the news. During a recent interview, Kalki Koechlin said that after hearing the news, Anurag Kashyap, who is the father to 18-year-old Aaliya Kashyap, from his first wife, welcomed Kalki to the parents’ club and told her to give a call if she needs anything.

Kalki Koechlin, who is all set to welcome her first baby with boyfriend Guy Hershberg, further stated that she has already got an idea of parenting seeing Anurag’s daughter Aaliya growing up.

Kalki Koechlin recently opened up about her pregnancy and revealed that she will deliver the baby through water birth. Talking about motherhood in an interview with HT Brunch, Kalki said, "I already feel the changes in the way I react to things. I am more deliberate, slower, more patient. When motherhood comes eventually, it brings with it a new consciousness to your sense of the person."

Kalki and Guy have been together for around five years now. Talking about the name of the child that they have picked up, Kalki said, "I’ve chosen a name that works for either gender and that is representative of a gay person, because I want my child to have that freedom of movement under the many umbrellas of gender that we have."

Kalki Koechlin and Guy Hershberg's relationship

While speculations about their rumoured relationship had been going on the rounds for quite a while now,  Kalki Koechlin finally confirmed her relationship with boyfriend Guy Hershberg recently with a love-laden post. She shared a beautiful picture with beau Guy Hershberg on Instagram where he can be seen kissing her on the cheek as they stand by the sea.

Kalki Koechlin's marriage with Anurag Kashyap

Kalki Koechlin was married to Anurag Kashyap, who directed her critically acclaimed film 'That Girl in Yellow Boots'. The pair tied the knot in April 2011 after almost two years of dating and divorced in 2015. However, unlike most separated couples, Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap are known to be good friends. Recently, they collaborated for Netflix's 'Sacred Games 2' and were seen bonding on the sets. In fact, Kalki Koechlin shared a picture with her ex-husband on Instagram and captioned it saying, "Two deviants on the sets of #SacredGamesS2"

Anurag Kashyap in relationship with Shubhra Shetty

Speculations of something brewing between Anurag Kashyap and Shubhra Shetty started back in 2015, and in an interview back then, Kasyap confirmed it saying that he has been in a 'relationship' for a very long time and that he does not believe in the fact that it is anybody's business to know. He went on to add that everyone needs to be in love at some stage or another. However, the pair eventually confirmed their relationship.
