Kangana Ranaut is often hailed as an accomplished actor by her fans. Her last release Judgmentall Hai Kya saw her play the role of a mentally unstable character Bobby. The story of Judgmentall Hai Kya revolved around a mentally unstable Bobby, who finds her new neighbour Keshav (played by Rajkummar Rao) amusing. The sanity of Keshav makes a kooky Bobby doubt his intentions. Bobby's escapades her neighbour Kesav form the crux of the film. The movie shot in Mumbai and London was a box office hit. Critics believed Kangana's character was the kookiest and whackiest female lead of Bollywood.
In an interview, Kanika Dhillon who wrote the film revealed how she wanted to create a character, whose mind space was not stable with Judgmentall Hai Kya. The writer considers Judgmentall Hai Kya to be her toughest script. The writer has previously written the screenplay for movies Manmarziyaan and Kedarnath. Dhillon also has three novels under her name: Bombay Duck is a Fish, Shiva and the Rise of the Shadows, and The Dance of Durga.
Kangana Ranaut is currently busy shooting for her Tamil debut Thalaivi. The movie directed by A.L. Vijay is a docudrama narrating the story of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The actor is also gearing to playing an agile sportswoman in movies Panga and Dhaakad. While her fans are eagerly waiting for her return to the screen.
