Kangana Ranaut shot to fame for being a feminist actor giving voice to female-centric films. Her Tanu Weds Manu series is one of the most popular ones and fans loved watching her in it. Other leads of the film include R Madhavan, Jimmy Sheirgill, Deepak Dobriyal. The Tanu Weds Manu franchise is a comedy series where Manu, an NRI doctor comes to India to search for a bride. He meets Tanu, a fun-loving girl who has no plans of marrying him. In the second part, the film revolves around the problems they have with their marriage and eventually, Manu falls in love with another girl who looks just like Tanu. Kangana Ranaut recently started shooting for Thalaivi which is based on the life of Jayalalithaa. Directed by A L Vijay, the film also stars Ashutosh Rana and Prakash Jha. She also has a few other films in the pipeline including Dhakkad, Imali, Jaljeera, and Zindabaad. She will also star in a sports biopic Panga based on the life of a national level Kabaddi player.
