Kangana Ranaut: Here are the best onscreen pairings of the actor till date

Kangana Ranaut is widely credited to have broken the stereotype of playing second fiddle to male lead actors in films. She is one of the few actors who ventured into working in women-centric movies. She has received several awards, including three National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. Although Kangana is widely known for excelling in lead roles, she is also known to share great onscreen chemistry with several of her co-stars.  

Kangana Ranaut with Rajkummar Rao

They have done two movies together so far, the first one being Queen (2013). Queen was a commercial super hit and received praise from critics. The second one that released recently, Judgementall Hai Kya (2019) received mixed-to-positive reviews from critics.

Kangana Ranaut and Emraan Hashmi

Kangana made her debut with the thriller, Gangster in 2006. She was seen on screen with two male actors, Shiney Ahuja and Emraan Hashmi. For this movie, she received the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Kangana and Emraan were later on seen in many other movies like Raaz (2009), Ungli (2014), and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai (2010).

Kangana and Hrithik Roshan

They were seen together in the movie Krrish 3, which released in the year 2013. Hrithik played the character of a saviour who is on a mission to kill an evil army of mutants, led by Kangana’s character. The movie was commercially successful and was critically acclaimed as well. The pair have also appeared together in Kites, which released in 2010.

Kangana with R. Madhavan

Ranaut and Madhavan starred in the popular Tanu Weds Manu movie series. While Kangana played the role of a flirtatious, carefree woman who did what she liked, Madhavan’s role was that of a simple man who was awed by Kangana’s personality. The movie was a super hit at the box office.

Kangana and Ajay Devgn

Ajay Devgn and Kangana have worked on two films, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai (2010) and Tezz (2012). Their on-screen chemistry was widely praised by viewers and critics. Both movies received mixed reactions from critics.
