Kangana Ranaut to play the role of Amala Paul in the remake of Aadai?
It is rumoured that Kangana Ranaut was considered to be a part of the Hindi remake of Tamil film Aadai. However, Kangana is busy prepping for Thalaivi.

Kangana Ranaut who is currently prepping for her role in the biopic of Jayalalitha. The film is titled Thalaivi and Kangana is learning Bharatnatyam as the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalitha was a trained dancer and an actor before she became a politician. According to the rumour mills, Kanaga was been approached for the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Aadai to play the role of Amala Paul in the film.
Kangana in the Hindi remake of Aadai?
The actor-producer Arun Pandian, who bankrolled and distributed the film, has clarified that it is all rumours. He cleared the air stating that Kangana Ranaut has not been approached for playing any role in the film. Pandian confirmed that his company A&P Groups has tied up with a big production company in Mumbai for remaking Aadai in Hindi. He stated that the film will be remade with great international standards with a leading popular star and added saying that he holds the remake rights of the film for all languages.
However, Kangana is busy prepping for Thalaivi. The Judgementall Hai Kya actor recently met the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The event marked the presence of other prominent actors of Bollywood too comprising of Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Kapoor, and many more.
Her official team also recently shared a video of Kangana having a pre-Diwali celebration in LA as she's also busy working on Thalaivi on the other hand as well. The actor went out for dinner with the team of Thalaivi between look tests for the film.
