Recently on the occasion of veteran actor Rekha’s birthday on October 10, Rangoli took to social media to share her warm wishes to the ageless beauty. She shared a very beautiful picture of Kangana and Rekha on Twitter and wrote a heartwarming message. "Rekha is the kindest soul her younger sister Kangana has met in the Bollywood industry." She also prayed for a healthy and hearty life for Rekha.

In several interviews with the media in the past, Rekha has complimented Kangana's acting skills. She praised her iconic performance in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and went on to call Kangana a "real-life Jhansi ki Rani". According to reports, the veteran actor also shared that if she ever had a daughter, she would have been exactly like Kangana.

In other news, Kangana will next be seen in the lead role for the biopic based on Jayalalitha. The movie will be directed by AL Vijay and will hit theatres by next year. The Judgementall Hai Kya actor has also bagged Anurag Basu’s love story drama called Imali. Another interesting project Kangy has in her kitty is a sports drama directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari, titled Panga. The movie will also feature Punjabi actor Jassi Gill and veteran actor Neena Gupta.
