Kangana Ranaut is currently shooting for the movie Thalaivi. The movie is the biopic of Jayalalithaa. She has been preparing for the movie for a long time now. The actor is seen showing utter dedication towards justifying the role of late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa. Currently, the actor is also gearing up for another upcoming movie, Panga. The movie is based on the real-life inspirational story of a national level Kabaddi player. The movie depicts the triumphs and failures of the player. The movie is slated to hit the screens on January 24, 2020.
Panga trailer coming soon
Kangana Ranaut’s team on November 19, 2019, posted a video of Kangana getting ready and also updated her fans about the trailer of Panga coming soon. The actor's team posted an Instagram story where she was spotted getting ready for an event. Later in the day, a boomerang video was posted where Kangana was seen sitting and getting dressed. The caption of the picture informed her fans that the trailer of the movie Panga will be coming out in December. Kangana’s team actively updates about every information related to Kangana, whether it be about her movies or her personal life.
A few months back, a picture from behind the scenes of the sets of Panga was shared by Ashwiny Iyer, the director of the movie. In the picture, Kangana was seen playing Kabaddi. Ashwini, in the caption of the picture, wrote, “We are gearing up #Pangastories”. Recently, the Delhi schedule of the film was wrapped up. Panga will also be featuring Richa Chadha, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Jassie Gill alongside Kangana Ranaut. The first sequence of the film was shot in Bhopal. The next sequence of the film will be shot in Kolkata according to Kangana Ranaut's Instagram post.

Ranaut made her debut with 2006 film, Gangster, for which she was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Ranaut has featured in several successful films like Queen, Woh Lamhe, Raaz: The Mystery Continues, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, the romantic comedy sequels- Tanu Weds Manu and Tanu Weds Manu Returns. She also appeared in a Tamil film named Dhaam Dhoom. Kangana Ranaut was last seen in the movie, Judgementall Hai Kya, opposite Rajkummar Rao.
