Kareena Kapoor Khan slays in a pantsuit, unveils T20 World Cup trophy

Kareena Kapoor Khan adding another feature to her cap became the first woman to unveil the T20 World Cup trophies. For the prestigious ceremony, the actress made a powerful statement in a brown pantsuit looking extremely stylish and chic. Unveiling the trophies for both the men and women's cricket tournament in Melbourne, the Takht actress stated that she is extremely honored for being a part of the evening and that she would like to encourage all the women playing for their respective countries to go ahead and pursue their dreams.

Kareena Kapoor unveils the T20 World Cup trophies:

On this occasion, Kareena remembered her late father-in-law and Saif Ali Khan’s father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. She talked about how Mansoor Ali Khan was one of the greatest cricketers of the Indian cricket team. She added that this makes it a bigger honour for her to be unveiling this trophy. The women’s T20 World Cup will be starting on February 21 and will go on till March 8. The men’s team will play the World Cup from October 18 to November 15. Cricket fans are excited as both events are highly anticipated throughout the participating countries.

What's next for the actress? 

Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen in the upcoming movie Good Newwz. The actor is starring alongside Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh. The movie will see Akshay and Kareena together after the 2009 movie Kambakkht Ishq. Kareena is also working with Aamir Khan for the movie Laal Singh Chaddha.
