Kareena Kapoor Khan's most controversial feuds with co-actors

Kareena Kapoor started her Bollywood career in 2000 opposite Abhishek Bachchan in the movie Refugee. The actress has been a part of the industry for the past 19 years and has given many box office hits like Jab We Met and Veere Di Wedding. She has found herself in many controversial situations over the past years. As per reports, the very first controversy started with her debut film itself. She was to make her Bollywood debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai; however, she turned down the film. Ameesha Patel was cast in her place and the movie went on to become a box office hit.

Kareena Kapoor and Preity Zinta

Reports state that Preity Zinta once spoke about nepotism in Bollywood and also stated that star kids do have an advantage over others. Based on that, when Kareena was then asked about her thoughts about these remarks, she said that Preity had said something about her previously, to which she had fought back. However, as per reports, she also said that Preity had some misunderstanding which had been clarified. Bebo further added that Preity was nowhere in the competition with her. The snarky exchange of words between the two had become an enormous controversy at the time.

Kareena Kapoor and Bipasha Basu

Bipasha and Kareena acted together in Anjabee (2001), and allegedly the feud started then itself. There was an issue with the actors’ costumes during the shooting of the film. The issue is stated to have escalated to a point where Kareena resorted to name-calling. It reportedly didn’t end there, Kareena, in a chat show, also said that Bipasha’s then-boyfriend John Abraham was expressionless and not a good actor. The whole situation is alleged to have hurt both Bipasha and John.

Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka and Kareena have previously shared the big screen in movies like Aitraaz and 36 China Town. The controversy started when Kareena asked Priyanka a question on Koffee with Karan. She implied that Priyanka Chopra’s accent was fake as she wondered aloud about Priyanka's accent. PC retaliated saying she got her accent from where Kareena’s then-boyfriend Saif also got his. This interaction raised many eyebrows in the industry since both actors are peers.

Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone

Kareena has worked with many famous film directors. However, she has not worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali yet. The role of Leela in Ram Leela was offered to Kareena but she turned it down. Deepika Padukone then agreed to be a part of the film and the movie went on to become a box office hit. Reports suggest that Kareena spoke about the movie and its director saying that she hasn’t worked with Bhansali, but there’s always the next time. She also said that she is probably the only actor who can boast about giving movies to other actors. Though Deepika didn’t reply to her comments, it was enough to send netizens into a frenzy.
