After Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan is the popular star who turned radio jockey (RJ) with the show What Women Want. The season was launched on December 10, 2018, on India’s first romantic radio station, Ishq 104.8 FM. After the success of Karan Johar’s ‘Calling Karan’, the radio station geared up to blaze this diva’s first stint on the radio. The show aims to break women-centric stereotypes in today’s time.
All about ‘What Women Want’
The first season saw a group of female celebrities go-on air with Kapoor. Kareena’s unique style of hosting the show gave it a certain freshness and it was well appreciated by viewers and listeners. Now, the actor is returning with the second season of the show for Ishq FM. This time the actor is inviting male visitors on her show. According to speculations, the Veere Di Wedding actor has been working on the concept for a long time. Reportedly, Kareena will have hubby Saif as the first guests for season 2.
Pictures of Saif from the sets of the show recently surfaced online. Kareena was seen in a blue denim top and denim washed pants, while Saif wore a simple black t-shirt and blue jeans. The two posed together with a heart-shaped cushion. The radio channel posted photos of Kareena with Sania Mirza and Dhvani Bhanushali as well. Sania was seen in a blue lace dress while Dhavni was seen in a simple top with the denim jacket over it. The actor also striked a pose with her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore, and other celebrity guests like Kajol, Kartik Aryan, Shila Shetty, Tushar Kapoor and Kalki Koechlin.
On the work front, Kareena will be next seen in Good Newwz alongside Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. Also, she will be a part of Angrezi Medium with Irrfan Khan. The actor will begin shooting for Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan in November. She is also set to feature in Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Takht.
