On the solemn occasion of 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' while the nation is observing 20 years of India's victory in the Kargil War, actor Akshay Kumar also joined in serenading the gallantry and valour of the Jawans of the country by sharing a video of a group of soldiers singing his song 'Teri Miiti' from his movie 'Kesari'.
Taking to Instagram, the 'Khiladi 420' actor posted a video saluting the veer Jawans of the country, his post read,
From 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo' to 'Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty' the 51-year-old actor who has earned a name the industry for doing movies on socially relevant issues, had on numerous occasion paid tribute to the Jawans. However, this heartwarming gesture of the Jawans returning the favour is sure to strike an emotional chord with the netizens.
A while back, while promoting Kesari, Akshay had also spent time with Jawans and danced with them. Time and again, the Kesari actor has worked for the betterment of Jawans. Akshay Kumar has also been actively involved with Bharat Ke Veer, an initiative which collects funds for the families of soldiers who lost their lives on the line of duty.
On the professional front, Akshay is gearing up for the release of his film 'Mission Mangal' which also stars Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha and others. Akshay will also be seen in the film Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer 'Good News'. He is also working on 'Laxmi Bomb' and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Sooryavanshi'.
