Kartik Aaryan is currently gearing up for his upcoming movie Pati Patni Aur Woh. In the movie, Kartik will be seen sharing the screen space with Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. It is not confirmed yet whether the movie is the remake of the old movie with the same name or it has a different storyline. At the launch of a magazine, Kartik shared that his film is not the exact remake of the original Pati Patni Aur Woh which was made in 1978 by B. R. Chopra.
Talking about the movie, Kartik Aaryan told a media publication that he was scared as the movie was a remake of Sanjeev Kumar's classic, but his upcoming film is a newly written film. He also added that all the characters in the movie are new and so is the story. The only thing which is similar to the classic movie is its title and the basic context, apart from that, it is a whole new story. Kartik mentioned that once the audience will watch the movie, they will know the difference. Kartik believes that Sanjeev Kumar is a legend and he cannot fill his shoes ever.
Kartik about his life choices
The actor also opened up about his film choices to a news portal. He said that he has rejected certain films because he did not like them or he felt that they would not be huge hits if he were to act in them. Kartik Aaryan has never regretted a choice that he has made in his life. He also mentioned that he may sound overconfident but he believes that the things he is doing are the right things. In the past also, Kartik has never done things according to what people have suggested. He further added that he trusts his gut feeling as it has been working for him. Kartik feels that his journey would be useless if he started thinking about what it would be if he did a certain film or not. Kartik concluded by saying that he thinks it is a good thing if films he rejected work out which is like a learning process.
