The relationship between Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan has always grabbed headlines and fans' attention. Everyone knows about their long-standing friendship and alleged relationship. In an interview with a media portal, Katrina has said that she had a great run with Salman Khan professionally and that their personal relationship has never been an obstacle for that. Katrina said that her professional relationship with her Bharat co-star Salman Khan has always been respectful. She also stated during an interview that Salman respected her for being hard-working and dedicated to her job as an actor.

Katrina added that Salman is receptive towards what she in bring as an actor. When she reached the set, she was a 1000 per cent prepared. Salman respected her for the same and acknowledged that she had put in so much effort. They share a respectful equation. Honestly, she does not cross the line with him. People outside may not understand this but it is their healthy equation

Bharat is an official adaptation of the Korean film Ode to My Father which is directed by Yoon Je-Kyoon. The producer had seen the Korean piece in a film festival and since then wanted to get it to India for its audiences. The movie is led by Salman Khan as Bharat and Katrina Kaif is playing the role of Kumud Raina. The movie revolves around a son's promise to his father of keeping his family together at any cost. The movie is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is jointly produced by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Nikhil Namit and Salman Khan under the banners Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films and T-Series.

The two Bollywood megastars have been through a lot of ups and downs and unnecessary attention given to them by the media for their alleged relationship.
