Ashutosh Gowariker's upcoming periodic drama film Panipat is now gearing up for its big release. On November 3, a special preview screening was held by Ashutosh Gowariker for the entire star cast and crew of the film. Pictures and videos of the director of the film along with Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Sanjay Dutt at the special trailer preview event were all over the internet. In between the event, fans got a glimpse of something interesting through Kriti Sanon’s Instagram story.

On November 1, the makers of Panipat unveiled the first poster of the film with the tagline, ‘The battle that changed history’, and also announced the release date to the film. Two days later, on November 3, Ashutosh Gowariker arranged a special preview screening of the film in Mumbai. In between the event, Kriti Sanon took to her Instagram to share something hilarious with her fans. The Heropanti actor video-called Arjun Kapoor and put Ashutosh Gowariker on the conference call. She took a screenshot of the video chat and captioned the picture saying, “When we taught Ashu sir how to do video conference.” She also wrote that that was how they were passing their time as the Panipat trailer was being screened for their media friends.
The film Panipat will be starring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. The movie will chronicle the story of the third historic battle of Panipat, which was fought between the Marathas and the Afghan ruler Ahmad Shah Abdali’s army in 1761. Despite the unparalleled bravery, the Marathas lost the battle. The movie also stars veteran actors like Zeenat Aman and Padmini Kolhapure. The music director duo Ajay-Atul will be handling the film’s music. The much-anticipated film is slated to release on December 6.
