Twitter users think Kriti Sanon's look in Panipat resembles Priyanka?

Kriti Sanon recently launched her first look from her upcoming film titled Panipat. People online compared her look with Kashibai played by Priyanka Chopra

The trailer of Panipat was released today which is a period drama and is one of the most awaited films of Ashutosh Gowariker who has created a niche in this genre. The movie stars Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles wherein Arjun will play the role of Sadashiv Rao Bhau, Kriti will play the role of Parvati Bai while Sanjay will play the role of Ahmad Shah Abdali in the film.

The audiences were quick to draw comparisons of their looks from the film to those of Ranveer's from Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat and Priyanka Chopra's from Bajirao Mastani. The Twitterati were quick enough to call out the director and actors of the film stating that the film is a rip off of Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Check out some of the tweets below:

Kriti unveiled the first look of hers as Parvati Bai in the film Panipat on her social media handles. But, there were a few people who got reminded of Kashibai from the film Bajira Mastani played by Priyanka Chopra. Bajirao Mastani is also a film about the Maratha dynasty and so is Panipat. The looks will tend to be similar as both the films are based on the lives of Maratha rulers.
