Kriti Sanon: The actress to be a part of Farah Khan's next film?

Kriti Sanon, who was recently seen promoting her Diwali release Housefull 4, is in the news for her supposed role in Satte Pe Satta. According to multiple reports, the Heropanti actress might be playing the role of Ranjeeta Kaur, the yesteryear actress. The original film was released in 1982 and had a legendary cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, and many others.

Reportedly, Kriti Sanon might play the role of Ranjeeta. The film was directed by Raj. N.Sippy back in 1982, but the latest version will be directed by Farah Khan. Previously, it was reported that Hrithik Roshan and Anushka Sharma had positively agreed to do the film as the lead characters. Any official statement by Farah Khan and the production company are yet to be received.

The original story of Satte pe Satta

Satte pe Satta tells the story of seven orphaned brothers who are taken care of by the eldest brother. The seven brothers fall in love with different girls and bring their love interest to their homes. The antagonist here is the wealthy Seema Singh’s paternal uncle. She is the love interest of one of the brothers.

On the work front

Kriti Sanon will be seen as the love interest of Akshay Kumar in the fourth Housefull franchise film. Post that, she will also make a special appearance in the film Pati Patni Aur Woh. She will also be seen in Panipat as Parvati Bai, the filming of which is undergoing. Kriti Sanon was last seen in her film Arjun Patiala as Ritu Randhawa, who is a reporter on a local news channel.
