Saif Ali Khan is a versatile Bollywood actor who does not mind experimenting with his characters in each project he takes. After enthralling the audience with his amazing performance in Sacred Games, Saif Ali Khan has now turned into a Naga Sadhu in his upcoming film Laal Kaptaan. Helmed by Navdeep Singh, Laal Kaptaan is set to release on October 18. The makers of the film have released its trailer in the form of three chapters, The Hunt, The Chase, and The Revenge.
Laal Kaptaan Trailers: Saif Ali Khan Seems to Be a Merciless Assassin
In chapter one: The Hunt, Saif Ali Khan is seen talking about life and death. In few scenes from the 1-minute-22-second-long trailer, Saif is also seen dragging a dead body behind his horse and fighting a few men. While the next two chapters were released recently, Saif Ali Khan is shown as a deadly assassin in chapter two and three of Laal Kaptaan. In chapter two: The Chase, Saif Ali Khan meets Sonakshi Sinha who hints to him about the next prey whom he needs to chase. Whereas in the final and the third chapter, The Revenge, Saif Ali Khan’s character is introduced as a blood-thirsty Naga Sadhu who is out to seek revenge from Rehmat Khan (played by Manav Vij). Their intense rivalry is brought face-to-face in this chapter. Saif Ali Khan is being praised for his excellent performance in Laal Kaptaan, even by Bollywood celebrities. A few days ago, Aamir Khan took to his Twitter handle and wrote “What an awesome trailer”.

Talking about the physical appearance for Laal Kaptaan, Saif had said in an earlier interview, “I even got my ears pierced for the role, which I was worried about initially. My hair has grown a lot. It bothered me throughout summer, when I was shooting in Rajasthan's sweltering heat. It took me 40 minutes to two hours sometimes to just get into hair and make-up for the part." He has said that his character in Laal Kaptaan is that of a person who is an animal at heart, a flat-footed wild fellow. Navdeep Singh, who has collaborated with Saif for the first time for a film, told PTI, "Laal Kaptaan is that kind of film that is definitely going to generate a genre and narrative style of its own."
