Akshaye and his mother had gone to their farmhouse in Mandwa over the weekend when she felt uneasy and was taken to a hospital in Chondi village near Alibaug, Mandva police station in-charge, assistant police inspector Meghna Burande told PTI.
Following the treatment, the duo returned to the farmhouse and Akshaye guided to her room and asked her to take rest. Later, when the actor came her, he found her unconscious.
He called his brother Rahul in Mumbai and the local doctors, who suggested they take her to an Alibaug hospital, where she was declared dead, the police inspector said.
