She has featured in quite a few dance numbers till now like Saki Saki from Batla House, Kamariya from Stree and Dilbar from Satyameva Jayate. Nora Fatehi will next be seen in a dance number for Marjaavaan. The song that Nora is featuring in is the remake of an old song, Ek Toh Kam Zindagani. The song has been launched on YouTube on October 10, 2019. Here is an explanation of the key moves for those who want to learn it.
Learn the Ek Toh Kam Zindagani Hook Step
Firstly, one needs to stand in a half-sitting position with the legs stretched apart. This step is important if one wants to master the hook step. This is called the ‘stick and roll step’. They need to twist their leg towards the inside and the hand movement to accompany it must look like as if they are trying to pull a stick. The hand and leg coordination is important for the step.
Next, the torso should move from right to left in a circular motion. This step is called the ribcage circle. One leg movement will be followed by a ribcage circle starting from that side. You can learn the step from Nora herself, who also recently featured in a dance video for the same song. The video takes the viewers through the whole choreography smoothly and also showcases the hook step.
Marjaavaan is all set to release on November 15, 2019. The release date of the movie has been shifted a lot earlier. The movie stars Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead role. Riteish reportedly plays a dwarf in the movie and is Sidharth's antagonist. Tara Sutaria is also reportedly playing a mute girl in the movie. Two songs from Marjaavaan, Tum Hi Aana and Ek Toh Kam Zindagani, have crossed 20million views on YouTube.
