Khurram Meer in Haider

Kay Kay played the evil uncle in Vishal Bhardwaj’s directorial drama film that is based on William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. He was praised for his negative character by the critics. He even received the Filmfare award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his work in Haider. It was also the first Indian film that won the People’s Choice award in Rome Film Festival.

Ranjeet in Life in a metro

Life in a Metro is a film that interestingly describes urban landscapes. The film released in 2007 and received positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience. Kay Kay portrayed the role of an unfaithful husband who gets involved in a marital affair. The film earned him critical recognition.

Kay Kay played the role of a doctor who tries to experiment with his medicine and has suffered from a disturbing childhood. It is one of the less talked and underrated performances of his career. It won the Special Jury award at the 8th Annual Star Screen Awards.
