Made In China: Rajkummar Rao flaunts his new-found 'six-packs'

After giving a power-packed performance in Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana and Judgemental Hai Kya?, Rajkummar Rao is all set for his upcoming movie Made In China. The film features Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy in the lead role. Rajkummar recently shared the poster of the movie revealing his first look. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film will hit the screens on Diwali this year.

Made In China: First look

The lead actors of the film Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy recently shared the first look of their characters from the film Made In China. Their storyline follows the struggles of a Gujarati businessman named Raghu and his wife Rukmini. Producer Dinesh Vijan said in an interview that Raj and Mouni have distinct looks that are much needed for the film’s fabric. The actor is sporting a moustache in the poster while Mouni looks graceful in a green saree. Recently Rajkummar shared a funny picture of him with neat six-pack abs drawn on his tummy. Apparently this J'uggad' is for a funny scene in the movie.

Reportedly, the film is based on the life of Gujarati businessmen Raghu who wishes to rule the world of business. He embarks on a journey to China to flourish his business. Soon he starts a joint business with Dr Vardha (played by Boman Irani). According to some reports, the filming is done at various locations in Ahmedabad’s Old City.

Made In China is directed by Mikhil Musale whose Wrong Side Raju bagged the National Award for Best Feature Film in Gujarati. Musale made his debut with Maddock Films Production. Dinesh Vijen shared his experience of working with Rajkummar Rao. He said that his working experience with Rajkummar started with the movie Stree. Rajkummar's performance pleasantly surprised him. It was on the sets of Stree when Musale narrated the story of Made In China to Rajkummar, and Raj immediately said yes to the film.

On the work front, Mouni Roy was last seen in Gold co-starring Akshay Kumar. The film was also a debut film for her and it turned out to be successful at the box office. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, it also stars Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh and Sunny Kaushal in the lead role. Also, the movie became the first Bollywood film to be released in Saudi Arabia.
